*Fanfiction Writers In Exile* is a fanzine created by Selin in 2025, chronicling the online exodus of fanfiction writers. This work explores the relationship between fanfiction, its authors, and censorship; it documents the migration of fanfiction across various platforms in the internet age, incorporating commentary and screenshots regarding online content censorship. Employing a collage aesthetic to preserve the traces of the internet, the project leverages the unique characteristics and artifacts of scanning and photocopying processes before undergoing final digital layout. The finished work retains the visual imprint of both manual collage and printing machinery, utilizing a random arrangement of colored sugar paper to ensure that each individual copy of the fanzine possesses a completely unique design.
